I’m a lifelong Montanan. My family has called this state home since the 1860s. I was raised in Wolf Creek, went to local schools, and graduated from Helena Catholic Central High School. In 1972, I enlisted in the Montana Army National Guard, where I served until 1979 and earned the rank of Sergeant.

For decades, I worked alongside my dad and uncle on construction projects across Montana and Wyoming before buying my parents’ ranch in 1994. In 2000, my wife Patricia and I started the Rocking Z Guest Ranch, a family business that continues to welcome guests from all over the world and share what makes Montana special. Together, we raised six kids and are now blessed with 19 grandchildren.

I’m a husband, father, and grandfather who believes in hard work, faith, and family. When career politicians tried to end my family’s business and livelihood, I saw firsthand how far Helena had drifted from the people it’s supposed to serve. In 2022 I was elected to the Montana House of Representatives, to be the voice of Montana families, farmers, and small businesses who keep this state strong. Now it’s time to take that same leadership to the Senate. Thank you for your trust. Out here, our word still means something.

Yours faithfully,

Zack Wirth
